Notice of changes of Vket Service Terms of use
(Avatar Maker Terms of Use)

Thank you for using Vket services.

As of January 30, 2025, we have made the following changes to the Terms of Use regarding Vket services, which are provided by our company to the users.

Notable updates

  1. Establishment of “Avatar Maker Terms of Use”
    Previously, Avatar Maker has been provided as one of the features in My Vket, which will be provided as a separate service from now on. Therefore, the “Avatar Maker Terms of Use” has been newly established and will be applied for future service.
  2. Condition Changes for Use of Avatars Created by Avatar Maker
    The use terms applied to avatars created by Avatar Maker have been updated as the following table.
    *Please note that use terms and permissions for avatars created using Creator’s Items (paid items purchased within Avatar Maker) are already updated and effective with the terms described in “After Change.”

  • Use as an avatar on VR/distribution platforms, etc.
  • Use as an avatar on video sharing sites/media/SNS, etc.
  • Use for commercial purposes (use as an avatar for distribution activities/appearances in shows). The sale of model data shall be excluded (see “Not Permitted” below for details).
  • Use for the production or sale of derivative works/secondary works (video works/posters/websites/goods, etc.). Other uses shall require prior confirmation by the Company.
  • Using as an avatar after the modification/adaptation using software other than Avatar Maker.
  • Using violent or sexual expressions; provided however that Users shall comply with and take into consideration the age zoning based on laws/regulations, social norms/public order and morals.

【Not Permitted】
  • Using for political or religious purposes.
  • Using for illegal activities.
  • Selling/distributing model data for Created Avatars/Creator’s Items (including selling/distributing modified/adapted versions, or selling/distributing them incorporated into the works of others).
  • Corporate use without prior confirmation by the Company.
  • Incorporating Created Avatars into software such as games and apps, and selling/distributing them to third parties or allowing them to use. Also, use in the development of said software
Authorship attribution Not specified When creating derivative works/secondary works (such as video works, posters, websites, goods, etc.), the following copyright notices must be displayed.

(1)When Creator’s Items are not included:
“©HIKKY”

(2)When Creator’s Items are included:
“©Copyright holder’s name” as stated on each product page of Creator’s Items.
Rights restrictions Non-transferable;

Non-sublicensable (in a case where paid Company Content is contained) 		Rights cannot be transferred, and sublicensing is not permitted.

Effective Date of Terms of Use

From January 30th, 2025

By using this service after the Terms of Use have come to effect, you have agreed to the newly established Terms of Use.

*For avatars created using the Avatar Maker in My Vket before January 29th, 2025, this Terms of Use shall be effective after April 1st, 2025. (Please note that use such as selling created avatars will not be permitted after this date.)
